Content marketing strategy for Korean search platforms
We trained the marketing team at Rentree, a leading Korean rental brokerage platform, in content planning and production around the customer journey.

The challenge
What we did
Rentree is a rental brokerage platform based on a reverse-auction model. Customers considering rentals research products through search and personal recommendations, then compare alternatives. The team needed a content marketing strategy and practical approach to improve NAVER visibility and respond to AI Briefing.

Renting rather than buying has become more common. A market initially centred on water purifiers has expanded to internet services, massage chairs, bidets and other categories. We analysed changing lifestyles and living environments to understand when customers consider these rentals. Together, we examined seasonal and needs-based discovery behaviour and connected it with content strategy.
Compelling storytelling is an attractive ideal for marketers. Content that delivers business results, however, starts with customers’ interests, curiosity and problems. Investigating these needs, forming hypotheses and testing them can seem less exciting. The process becomes rewarding when teams experience validation and results. Helping teams reach that point remains challenging and reinforces the need to make content marketing training engaging.
